Prerequisites: Successful completion of the Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST), and full admission to the teacher preparation program or permission of division chair, EDUC 218, PSYC 215. An interdisciplinary approach to fundamentals of learning and measurement. Includes a survey of behavioral, cognitive, social learning, constructivist, and humanistic learning theories; teaching, motivational strategies, management and discipline, and assessment. Up to 20 hours of field experience required. Fall semester.
